The Beginning

How it all began

Some love stories begin with grand gestures. Ours began with a terrible joke at a mutual friend's birthday party in 2019. Angad was trying to impress — Shreya was unimpressed. But then he laughed at his own joke, and somehow, that changed everything. Seven years, four cities, twelve countries, and one perfectly imperfect proposal later — here we are.

2019
The First Meeting 🎉
A mutual friend's birthday in Bandra. Angad told a terrible joke. Shreya rolled her eyes. They talked until 2 AM. Nobody remembers the joke anymore.
2019
The First Date ☕
Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Lower Parel. Angad was 12 minutes late. Shreya had already ordered. They stayed for 4 hours. The staff politely asked them to leave.
2020
Surviving Lockdown Together 🏠
When the world paused, they grew closer — binge-watching everything, cooking (mostly burning) elaborate meals, and realising that "together" was their favourite place to be.
2021
First Trip Together 🏔️
A spontaneous road trip to Spiti Valley. No plan, no itinerary — just a car full of snacks, a playlist of songs they still fight over, and the most breathtaking sunrise they've ever witnessed.
2022
Moving In 🏡
Their first apartment in Andheri. They argued about furniture for two weeks and agreed on everything else instantly. That balance still holds.
2023
Europe Together 🌍
Six countries in three weeks. They navigated missed trains, wrong hotels and dodgy food — and loved every chaotic second of it.
2024
He Asked, She Said Yes 💍
At their favourite table at Bastian, Bandra — surrounded by fairy lights and (accidentally) three confused waiters — Angad got down on one knee. Shreya cried. Angad cried. The table next door clapped.
December 2026 🎊
Forever Begins
Cocktails in the hills of Lonavala. A wedding by the sea in Mumbai. And a lifetime of adventures ahead — this time, officially together.

Interior designer with an eye for beauty in everything. Can spot a good café from a kilometer away, always orders something adventurous, and somehow still has room for dessert. Her superpower is making any space — and everyone in it — feel like home.
